Smokeless

In a happy and appropriate coincidence, tomorrow is the 5th anniversary of me giving up smoking (I promised I would if Arsenal did the double, and had my last ones while celebrating the last game of the season. Very Nick Hornby)

If I complete this I may see it as a final reclamation of my life from cigarettes, as I'll be nearly as fit as I was when I started smoking at 16. Sometimes what is done can be undone, but it takes a lot of work.

Congratulations. Weird isn't it to think of all those Marlboros we sat and smoked. Think it must be 4 years now for me...but I've lost count. Which makes me feel more positive that I've broken the addiction...

Congratulations on quiting. I've tried to limit myself to cigars and quit smoking cigarettes like a chain smoker. That has helped for me some, but I would love to quit for good. Take care and once again, congrats!

It seems like only yesterday. Well done. I'm sure your lungs will expel the last traces on your marathon. Hope you're not too saddle sore.

well done for this...have you done any rides recently. I'm doing the great north ride tomorrow, I have the fitness bug now...I want to get fitter and fitter...doing the john o groats to lands end ride is my goal, actually maybe quitting cigarettes is my ultimate goal but the ride is a close second. Congrats again.
